The PCE-PST 1 adhesion tester is engineered to handle adhesive forces of up to 500 N or 110 pounds. It offers a travel distance of 100 mm (3.9 in) and a feed rate of 0.3 m/min (11.8 in/min), allowing trained personnel to conduct edge testing in under a minute. Once the test edge is clamped, measurement occurs automatically when the triggering force of 20 N is reached. Upon completion of the measurement, statistical data is displayed, including minimum and maximum values, as well as the average edge band strength. Additionally, the provided software enables further evaluation, offering various statistical values and a force-time diagram display if needed.
