Environmental parameters including temperature, humidity, wind speed, ambient temperature, light level, noise level, etc. may all be measured with an environmental meter. This equipment serves as a crucial tool in a variety of industries, including agriculture, construction, oil and gas, and environmental protection.
The PCE-430 is a type 1 sound level meter that complies with ANSI S1.43-1997, IEC 60651:1979, IEC 60804:2000, and IEC 61672-1:2013 standards. The sound pressure level (SPL) is shown numerically and graphically in real time on the big, easy-to-read backlit LCD screen of this portable, high-accuracy sound level meter.
Octave band filtering allows for the detection of even the smallest frequency differences.
The portable meter can also record readings at intervals that can range from 1 second to 24 hours, and it stores the recorded measurement data on a micro SD card. You may take the SD card out of the meter and put it in a PC’s SD card reader.
Alternately, a USB connection may be used to link the decibel meter directly to a PC. The PC-compatible software offered makes it possible to analyze data quickly and simply.
This instrument measures between 22 and 136 dB(A) at a frequency between 3 and 20 kHz. The meter has fast, slow, and impulsive time weightings in addition to A, B, C, and Z frequency weightings.
