PCE-HVAC 3 is a multifunction environmental meter, tester, or diagnostic meter used for indoor climate and environmental monitoring. In addition to measuring relative humidity and ambient temperature/dry bulb temperature, the meter calculates Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), and dew point temperatures. Therefore, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installations and HVAC system performance evaluations are key applications of the PCE-HVAC 3 meter.

Measurements of relative humidity and ambient temperature / dry bulb temperature are taken directly by built-in sensors. The dew point and wet bulb temperatures are calculated using the readings sent by the sensors of Environmental Meter PCE-HVAC 3.

With a large backlit display and six-button operation, the meter is easy to read and use. The Environmental Meter PCE-HVAC 3 is equipped for one-time on-site measurements as well as for monitoring climate changes over time. The shutdown function can be deactivated for long-term measurements. There is also a thread on the back of the meter to mount the meter on a tripod.

The extreme value measurement function of Environmental Meter PCE-HVAC 3 can be activated during long-term monitoring to determine the minimum or maximum values ​​over a desired period of time.
