There are different types of anemometers, the anemometer that is introduced to you here is the PCE-A420 cup anemometer, which is one of the best and most unique “types” of anemometer.
PCE-A 420 anemometer is a laboratory measuring device that measures wind speed “efficiently”.
Anemometer is a device for measuring air flow velocity in the atmosphere, in wind tunnels, and other gas flow applications.
The main advantage of this device is that “you do not need” to “hold it” exactly in the direction of the wind. The cup vane air flow meter system is so sensitive that it reacts to the smallest air flow.
“To operate this device,” first turn on the meter, then hold it vertically so that the cups can rotate and the wind speed can be displayed.
In this device, different measurement units can be selected, to change the units, press the Data Hold key and to disable this function, press the Hold key again.
