PCE-RCM 10 is a portable handheld particle counter for monitoring the concentration of particles (PM) in the air. Designed to aid in indoor air quality (IAQ) assessment, this particle counter also measures air temperature and relative humidity (RH). The particle counter can be powered by the built-in rechargeable battery or via the USB port.
The USB port is also used to charge the battery. When fully charged, the battery provides up to 5 hours of continuous or unlimited use when connected to a USB power source. The particle counter PCE-RCM 10 displays all measured values simultaneously on both devices. PM levels appear larger in green, yellow, gold, orange, pink, and red. This visual color-coding system makes it easy to see when MP’s concentration levels are rising dangerously, which is fast Action enabled.
When inhaled, PM 2.5 and PM 10 particles can lodge deep in the lungs and cause adverse health effects. Because the PCE-RCM 10 particle counter monitors PM 2.5 and PM 10 particles, the device has many practical health and safety applications. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technicians use PM 2.5 and PM 10 particle counters for performance and filtration audits of HVAC systems. In addition, industrial hygienists and occupational safety specialists rely on PM 2. Particle 5 and PM 10 counters in assessing workplace health and safety risks related to combustible and hazardous dust.
