You can use the software to access previously recorded data, perform graphical analyses, calibrate, encrypt passwords, limit alarms, and change various functional settings. The touch-sensitive controls allow you to start/stop recording, read temperature (MIN/MAX/AVG), verify alarm set limits, and use the backlight function. Within 5 seconds of the display refresh interval, the Precise sensor provides an accurate measured value. It is powered by three 1.5V AAA batteries and can be turned off for an extended period of time.
