The PCE-FOT 10 Cooking Oil Tester is a device designed specifically for testing cooking oil quality. This portable and easy-to-use tester is equipped with a sensor for measuring the Total Polar Material (TPM) content in frying oil. TPM is a key indicator of the degradation of cooking oil due to frying, indicating when the oil needs to be changed to maintain food quality and safety.
The cooking oil tester is a device designed for assessing the quality of various types of oil, widely utilized by food inspectors as well. This tester allows for direct measurements in hot oil. To conduct a measurement, the tester’s probe is immersed directly into a fryer or similar container. This ensures quick and reliable results. Within seconds, the device provides readings for both the oil temperature in °C / °F and the oil quality as a percentage of PC (polar compounds).
