The PCE-EVSE 310 Plus Electric Vehicle EVSE Tester is a device designed to test and verify the functionality of electric vehicle charging stations, specifically for charging mode 3 installations. It is compatible with standard VDE 0100 testers like the PCE-ITE 55B installation tester, and it can be used to check for installation errors thanks to its phase voltage detection capabilities via LEDs.
The PP State rotary switch on the EVSE tester allows for the simulation of different charging cable capacities by using various resistors connected between the Proximity Pilot (PP) and Protective Earth (PE) conductors. Additionally, the CP State rotary switch enables the simulation of different vehicle charging states by altering the resistors between the Control Pilot (CP) and PE conductors. This setup helps in testing and verifying the functionality of electric vehicle charging stations by mimicking different operational scenarios.
