The PCE-DFG N 10TW torque wrench tester consists of a handheld measuring device and an external torque transducer. The twist converter is connected to the handset via a 1.5 m / 4.9 ft cable and thus allows installation on a test bench or direct mounting on a test bench.
The supplied torque measuring device has been adjusted so that test measurements can be started immediately. Calibration certificate is available as an option for the torque measuring device. This certificate is a target/actual comparison against a traceable reference standard and therefore serves as proof of measurement accuracy. The measurement uncertainty of the torque measuring device is only 0.5% of the measuring range. Therefore, the torque measuring device is used as a reference device for testing and adjusting static torque instruments. Screw locking is necessary for dynamic torque.
The torque transducer has a 1/2″ square socket and can perform torque measurements in both rotational directions. With a sampling rate of 1600 Hz, the torque meter detects torque reliably first and last peak torque (PEAK). The trigger moment (“click”) is displayed separately on the display and can be cleared manually or automatically after a specified time Thanks to the freely adjustable warning values, the torque measuring device can warn the tester about an overload of the torque tool if it does not activate. For detailed analysis For more details on torque, the supplied PC software can be used.
A torque wrench is one of the perfect tools to help perform tasks such as tightening screws and nuts with the highest possible precision. It is significantly superior to conventional keys and is especially recommended for use in the case of very sensitive materials that may be damaged in case of excessive impact. With torque wrenches, users no longer need to doubt whether the active power is sufficient or not and whether the structure with screw is reliable enough , because it is not a preliminary detection and evaluation but is an accurate measurement.
The range of applications of torque wrenches is very wide, including the automotive industry, shipbuilding, and various construction and repair works. Tightening is one of the essential quality parameters and applying the correct equipment helps minimize the risk of breakage and damage to equipment and components when screws are tightened.
